An idyllic gem on the rocky coastline, Collioure is situated in the very south of France, 26 km from the Spanish border.

The picturesque village is nestled in a rustic countryside & unspoiled environment. It's small Catalan harbour is sheltered by a quiet bay where the rocky foothills of the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean sea. Collioure is full of character with lovely cobbled streets and lots of typical french restaurants.

There is a market twice a week on Sunday & Wednesday selling local produce.

The "Petit train" travels up the hill through vinyards to Port Vendres, you can get off for a look around, catching a later train back to Collioure or stay on the train and enjoy the journey back to town.

There are lovely walks around the coast or up the hills.

Most evenings in the high season there is entertainment in the streets.

There are also regular trains going to Perpignan (25 mins), as well as other local towns & villages.
